have been shifting the things on my table…
i need more space for my books, notes and doodling…
apparently Niki and NinKi are taking up too much space…XD
hmmm…for the time being i think this is the best i could do…
i have this strong feeling that i will shift them soon…LOL
and my KinKi you kochan poster is up!!! YAY!

i realised i did not talk much about Bristol so far.
well…it’s quite a small town i must say (bigger than Singapore still XD)…
many places seem far on maps but they are actually really near…XD
it certainly reminded me of my lovely miyakojima…
(have yet to write my entires on that >_<)
the traffic in town is horrible. jams, delays and accidents are common.
the roads are really very narrow here…
buses have to make sharp turns with the risk of getting stuck…
i even encountered situation which the bus got to literally come to a stop so that there would be room for the truck on the other lane to drive pass…

since i am staying in city center,
i am glad that most of the places are within walkable distance…
but i still remember the first day of school,
we waited for 1.5 hours for the bus in the cold!
when it finally came, it drove pass us without stopping! >_<
cause it was “packed”…
(with some passengers standing and all seats taken)
so we tried walking to school and it wasn’t too bad if the weather is good^^
now every morning i will take an 1 hour walk to school…
it’s definitely a good way to wake myself up! XD
hmmm… i THINK i’m coping fine in school so far (?)…
feeling a little apprehensive about all the modules though…

from my observation, the busiest thing in town would be the fire engines…
we can hear them rushing to different places everyday, many many times.
one good example would be the very place i’m staying in…
the fire alarm rings more often than my door bell does…
either because our friends downstairs need improvement in cooking or 
they are partying and setting off the alarm is their form of invitation.  
when i hear it rang for the first time i went down, fire fighters came and all…
but as time goes by…i couldn’t be bothered…
i think i will just die in the case of real fire…LOL

i think i don’t have to talk about the living expenses here…XD
kinda obvious that i would only have one word for it: OVERPRICED.
but one thing about the food here is they expires really fast,
be it fruits, bread, meat, vegetables…
not sure if they want to make sure all food are consumed fresh or what…
to make things worse…many of them comes in huge portions…
it really annoyed me, how am i going to finish in such a short time man!

as for the weather, i am still trying to adjust to it…
it’s kinda unpredictable…maybe i have bad judgement i don’t know…
when i’m all guarded for the cold, Mr. sunshine will come and say hi…
when i put my thick jackets aside…strong winds and rain will drop by…
and i don’t like the fact that the rainy season is here…so troublesome!!!

i also noticed drivers are badly needed here…
bus drivers, truck drivers, delivery drivers, taxi drivers, truck drivers!
so if you don’t mind cold rainy weather and love driving, consider Bristol.

about my cook-your-1-week-meal-in-a-day-plan…
well…it sorta worked…
it could have been better if my fridge is not so overfilled and cranky…
i could hardly find space to put my food in…
the freezer is working fine but the normal compartments are not cold…
might as well just put our food outside our windows…
it’s even cooler than the fridge…
that’s what dorothy did for her fruits…kinda fun^^
and i think i have yet to get use to the microwave in the kitchen…
frankly speaking…i don’t like to use microwave to heat my food…
have this feeling that the waves it produces will cook my internal organs…

i should be working on my portfolio and CV right now…
it’s presentation tomorrow!

maybe that’s why i find it kinda cosy and familiar huh?^^

inductions ended and school starts officially next week for me…
still rather apprehensive but pretty excited at the same time…
and my assignments are starting to pile up:(
think i’ll just have to try my best and fight on huh?

yay! i received the parcel my mama sent! (Dorothy got hers as well^^)
stunned by the amount of stamps pasted on the parcel! XD
i’m so glad that my winter clothings are here!
not at the right time though…
cos the next few days will be very warm in Bristol!
around 8 to 18 degrees…XD
i am slowing getting the hang of the british context of weather…
it’s considered warm/hot as long as it’s above 10 degrees^^
time to pack ur sandwich, lie on the grass and sunbath! XD 

my lovely mama packed in a tiny cooker for me! (named it KOoker)
i can’t wait! so i tried cooking noodles in it! exciting! XD

and look at the bag full of food i bought on way back from school today!
my shoulders and arms were numb after carrying it…-_-|||
i hope that can last me a week…
school’s getting busy and lots of assignments streaming in…
so i cannot afford to go down to the mart as and when i like…
so my sis taught me to cook my meals for the entire week all at one go!
gonna do it tmr, too tired after my boxing day…
